Re: Planning on staying in the UK or going abroad? Be careful that places like Canada/US don't require you to have a degree in Nursing PLUS Midwifery. I think the US certainly want that.
As for Australia. I'm sure a lot of NQ are going straight over after qualification. I read about a couple on SMS, plus a few from StudentNurse (nurses) are going over. I'm not sure if you need to be on the NMC register here to register over there.
Regarding myself... Eventually it is my goal to emigrate to Aus. It always has been (I blame Home & Away!) but probably won't until Coby is at least Secondary school age (plus any other additional children!) So hopefully I'll have had a place and well qualified by then!
