This is very sad but getting the midwife sacked will not bring back their baby or make them feel any better. Surely the effort put in to all this hate and blame would be better spent trying to get procedures in place so this doesnt ever happen again. Very sad for all concerned and Im sure the midwife concerned feels upset and guilty enough without having her whole career ruined for something that surely wasnt her whole responsibility.
