Default Re: Independent Vs Hospitalised Midwifery

Wow what a difference to this country, about the direct entry bit.
I thought I wanted to always be a community midwife, as 1st year was so lovely, but now I feel more supported and feel I have more of a safety net in the hospital setting, I love delivery suite, but it does sometimes worry me especially with the staffing levels and the crazy induction rate we currently have, but about the CTG bit we don't routinely CTG low risk women, and if women say no-then they say no and thats that. We only CTG high risk and if coming into labour with suspected/obvious SRM x
