Well finally got the chance to ask about this today and was told it was most likely pre eclampsia! All that waiting and thats what I get back Was told that it sounded like she was developing it just before labour began what with the oedema and then her BP rising like that. I thought delivery was an instant cure but apparently not. Ah well, you live and learn
