She should be admitted at least to maternity daycare, or antenatal ward for urinalysis, obs and a CTG!

I cannot beleive that they won't see her? Too early to be in labour? what?

I wouldn't say she would need a VE unless there were other signs, such as pain she could not cope with, PV loss, membrane rupture etc. She does need to be seen really.

i suggest she rings again and insists she is seen if only for the above investigations to ensure all is well.
