Secondment is used for midwifery, however it depends on the finances available at your trust.

To find out if this is poss, I would ask your supervisor directly.

My friend was going to be seconded (she was an MCA) but the funding in the end was withdrawn, so she was gutted, she is carrying on, but on a meagre bursary instead.
