I just found this announcement and wondered what you thought of hypnobirthing?

I did a presentation on hypnobirthing for my access course and after reading the book, I thought it seemed fantastic and the success stories I found seemed to back up the theory.

However, when I brought it up at the group discussion at my interview for Glamorgan, the tutor was very dismissive, her attitude was that childbirth was extremely painful, end of story.
