I agree, if everyone goes into midwifery so positive and friendly to each other, when it's so tough just to break into it, why change to bitchyness once you're qualified, and stress of the job is really no excuse for that sort of thing.
I think you are doing a wonderful job with this site J ™. I'd heard so much about it before I joined I couldn't believe it when I saw you hadn't long started it, I'd assumed it had been going for years!
