That first night was a tough one, I felt drunk by 5am ..lol. Got my 5 witnesses now and 2 hands on. My lady last night though ended up with a retained placenta and PPH . But I enjoyed staying with her all through theatre and in recovery, which I think she really appreciated (wouldn't have got to stay in recovery on days) she was a very anxious person and convinced herself she was going to die, I managed to calm her down and keep her chatting all through the manual removal and she was surprised when it had finished and she hadn't realised. Reckon I did OK there then .
I'm off until next Tusday now.
I should be doing this in a personal blog shouldn't I, not on a thread.. sorry ..lol.
