Default Re: does anyone ever have doubts???

absolutely agree, we will always have doubts, kids, family or not!
I, as am sure everyone did, had doubts, particularly before i started about being a single mum, paying for childcare, working longs shifts among others. But i just thought I needed to give it a go! The doubts are still there, but everyday i am a step closer to becoming qualified. The hurdles are not insurmountable by any means, believe me. Also, the way you feel has been felt so many times before, and people have started, survived and qualified the course with flying colours.
All i can advise is to start and give it a go. Work through each problem as it happens and not think about them all at once. Can't remember who, but someone has used the analogy of training as being a baby. You are born, you learn to sit up, you learn to crawl and before you know it you are walking and then running......and then qualified!
Good luck, we are all here to support you
