It's reaally hard to keep going with the access essays once you've been accepted - it's natural to be so focussed on starting the midwifery that you get impatient and demotivated with the access stuff. But you need to get it done, as your midwifery place is probably conditional on your access course. You've had some excellent suggestions so far, setting yourself an amount of time each day to do it, giving yourself rewards along the way etc. Essays that you're not interested in are not fun, but they are hoops that you need to jump through to get where you want to be - and you'll find that you feel the same about some of the essays on the midwifery course as well. And it's easier to jump through one hoop at a time, while you've got time on your side, than trying to jump through a huge stack of hoops the night before the submission date - I'm the last minute queen - I know these things!
