Thanks so much for all your words and encouragement - I have had a fairly productive day, I do my Access course at a University so I went to the library as I feel it has a more 'focusing effect' (less distractions) when I am there. My Degree is conditional so yes I HAVE to pass this but knowing this doesn't motivate me either so I felt a bit like a lost cause.... I guess it is good to know that we are all in the same boat - I am the only one doing Midwifery on my Access course so I feel a bit like an island at times...

The 2 hour thing is a great idea, I just have to not spend the first hour and a half avoiding work!!!!

Can I ask as a v v v rough guide how long do most of you spend on your essays? say an 1800 word one in total?
