am in exactly the same boat too! If I have a whole day, that is 9.30 till 3.00 (inbetween school runs!) I find I can get a 1500-2000 word essay done from start to finish and typed up. Thats only if I have all the books for what I need. So a little prep and then I just sit there, lots of cups of tea and a sandwhich! So I would say 5 hrs roughly!
