I agree with the other posts that this is a very sad story indeed. I feel sad for the family that after two years they are unable to forgive and move on with their lives with their new baby. I also feel for the midwife who seems to have been singled out and blamed when there are other professionals involved in administering care and who no doubt did the very best that they could for this woman and her child. Like the other posts I agree that there is a lack of facts in the story which makes the story too one sided and black and white when we all know that there are shades of gray.
