I know. I have faith in nature and believe in a woman's ability to have her baby, not 'oh, you're only 3 cm' or 'your contractions aren't strong enough' or 'you're not pushing very well, sweetie' I hate it, hate it, hate it. My only massive worry (minor detail!!!) is being able to stick out this medicalisation to the end and having to work within it once qualified!

Poor Americans, there situation is even worse.

Any indies offering a demoralised student fed up with watching women bieng demoralised and then medicalised,a weeks shadowing?

why can't most of these women only be offered homebirth? if only they really knew and understood, why don't they know???
