I did injections in placement before doing the theory.. My mentor was fab though, I observed quite a few before doing any, she explained the theory of it too my too (during a quiet night shift) and then let me do it! I'm soo glad she explained it to me though! I wouldn't have liked to have done it without the knowledge..
RE. VE's.. This is one thing that I was really nervous about, I made sure I told me mentor this on the very first day.. And on that first day when the oppurtunity came up to do a VE she gave me the choice or whether I wanted to or not, really supported me and made me feel really confident.. I did do the VE and I'm sooo glad I did! Not been nervous about them since!
