Re: Im a bit confused can you help Hi SC
A personal statement is personal to you! Most Universities are looking for certain qualities when they are reading your PS. They want to know things like:
- you understand the role of midwife
- that you show some team working i.e volunteering, in the jobs you have had etc
- that you are able to manage your time and that you can complete tasks/projects etc.
The list is probably endless and the Universities do all look for differing things. Some people mention their children and if pregnancy made you want to become a midwife then I would say that.
We have a really good section with Personal Statements on it and I would suggest that you read them before attempting to do yours. If you want anyone to read and help with your statement then just ask!! http://www.studentmidwife.net/personal-statements/
Good luck and once you start writing your PS you will be surprised at how much you can write!
