Hi Yana, I have also never worked in a healthcare setting - I have spent the last 10 years working in banks! What you need to do is REALLY emphasise the skills you have that are transferrable to midwifery. Think about your communication and organisational skills that you will have developed due to raising a family - you must be an expert in negotiation and persuasion! As a mum you will be an accountant, a cleaner, a peacekeeper, a negotiator, a personal assistant to everyone and his dog and many more things besides! Think of all these things and I am sure you will be fine! GOOD LUCK xxx
