Default Re: Energy levels

i keep glucose tablets in my bag because i find if my sugar levels drop too low i feel very ill and can often feel faint- the last thing you want to be doing when your hand is on a head is fainting LOL!!!!

we are allowed water bottles in the kitchen area- which is part of the midwive's station- and we often have cups of tea or bottle of water in the delivery room- i think it's unfair to prevent staff from eating and drinking- i understand it can be an infection risk, but our women aren't really ill- and we're only human too!!! we are allowed to eat little snacks at the station, but mostly eat in the staff room.
