Hi

I'm in my first year and we have to do 200 hours for each placement which lasts eight weeks. We do 3 placements in first year so 600 hours in total.

We have to roughly do about 25 hours on placement and usually do the shifts our monetors do.

In the 2nd and 3rd year we do more hours on placement. 2nd yr is 216 hours which is about 27 hours each week and in 3rd yr we do between 210 and 306 hours which amounts to about 30 to 34 hours a week.

Ours doesn't seem to bad as when your on placement you probably get more hours at home than when we are in uni.
