I currently study the access to midwifery with the dlc and love it - you can work in your own time and get loads of support from tutors. All the uni's I am applying to accept the course so hopefully you wont have any trouble with that but definately double check as some Uni's ask for additional units/credits. Any q's regarding the course with dlc pm me I'd be more than happy to help. Remeber that getting onto a midwifery course is just as much about what you have done to research the job and gain experience as your academic results, try reading plenty of journals and online and maybe try getting some work experience with your local hospital or nct group - it can be difficult to get experience in this field but if you can get it you will find it really helps your application
