Default Snapped cord

Im just revising for an exam and im revising complications with the 3rd stage. I was looking into what happens when the cord snaps.

The other day on shift we had a snaped cord during CCT and the co ordinator came in and was getting the woman to try pushing to see if that would deliver it and she also gave fundal pressure. Is this right?

When i have read about snapped cords it always talks about taking the woman to theatre for a manual removal! Which is right?

Or at least which would be right for my exam!
