Default Re: Has anyone used Lesley Page's EBC model?

It's from her book 'The New Midwifery: Science and senditivity in practice' (2000), starting on page 9.

The Five Steps of Evidence Based Midwifery
  • Finding out what is important to the woman and her family
  • Using information from the clinical examination
  • seeking and assessing evidence to inform decisions
  • talking it through, and
  • reflecting on outcomes, feelings and consequences
Thought this was a good one to use as it focuses on the midwifery model of care. It's just my poor old brain, not working efficiently!
