I have found this error and you are correct. It is an error, but that doesn't mean the book is rubbish.

I have found errors in many books I have read over the years. I proof read all my essays and get my OH to proof read them too, yet I still end up with some mistakes that get through unnoticed.

I'm sure that is the case here. The book is very good for students and if you need to administer drugs, you wouldn't rely on a book like this, you would check in the BNF and with your Trusts protocols.
