hun, well done you for being in that situation- i've been in hairy moments and felt absolutely rooted to the spot with fear, and have only been an observer, not actually involved.
It's normal to feel like this, and it is beneficial that you are experiencing things like this now- you'll be so used to it when you do get on the course, whereas others may be experiencing it for the first time.
