Hi and welcome to the site - congratulations on getting your place, I can only echo what the lovely ladies have already said - seems like you are the ideal person to be a midwife and to care enough about giving women the empowerment to have the birth they want. I work within the NHS and I've seen firsthand some of the bitchiness that happens BUT I have also come into contact with some wonderful people!! I think it's like any workplace - you get some gems and some horrors LOL!!
Good luck with everything, as far as the juggling act goes - you'll be fine - us women always manage it somehow!!!
