I had a brilliant day, it was so interesting and I learnt a lot from her.
The clients she saw yesterday were all alcohol users, mostly binge drinkers, but stupid as it may sound I was very surprised to see they were just like anyone else, they just had a problem with alcohol.
I saw a lady who the midwife thinks had Intraphetic cholestasis which makes her itch a lot, it was so interesting to learn about it.
It surprised to to learn about all the help and support that is available to the clients if they want to take advantage of it.
It was lovely to hear from the midwife about the struggles and sad times of a couple of the clients she is dealing with, but also great to hear of those who manage to turn their life around too.
As you can tell, I had a brilliant day that went way too quickly
