Unless you have a long term illness or disability that you are receiving benefits for already, it is unlikely that you will get any help.

Full-time students without dependants (at home) or a disability are not usually eligible for benefits.

The unis have access to learning funds which you can apply for if you are suffering hardship.

Some students also work as bank HCA's during thier training to get some extra cash.

It's a crap situation, especially as they work you like a donkey for three years!
