Only a handful dropped out/took time out on my course, me being one of them. I will be returning tho.

I echo what Olly says above but would add that some drop out as the course is very demanding and if you have alot going on, like a divorce, house sale, new family, health issues as I did, something has to give.

Feeling guilty about leaving/settling the kids is something we all have to deal with, but there are always good reasons why someone drops out/takes time out and the guilt isnt that common a reason, in my experience. The Unis try hard to set holidays with school holiday times so you get quality time off at home with the kids.
