Default Re: Getting advice on the application process....

Hi Everyone. Ive been on other Midwifery Forums but was emailed a link to this recently so thought i pop by and say hello.

I need help actually. Ive applied two years running for Midwifery and been unsuccessful in Plymouth. I was offered a Adult Nursing place this sept as an alternative and took it cause thought a foot in the door would halp and maybe was another route to the ultimate goal of being a midwife. Its still my passion and want to put in another application this year and only have a short space of time to do so but ive been put off by my tutor. He say i woud need a very good case to justify doing a year as an adult nurse before becoming a midwife, although technically ive only done a few months so far.

has anyone been in this postion and can you help with the right thing to say in a personal statement pls.

thanks in anticipation
