When i start in September, I'll have an hour and a quarter drive each way. i know its gonna take soe getting used to but my plan is to get in an hour earlier - miss the birmingham rush house traffic and stay on an hour or two in the evening - do my private study in this time in the library - meaning that when i get home, i wont have too much to do in the evenings.

it just depends on how much u want this and your existing commitments.
