Re: How far to travel?
I feel so lucky because Teesside was actually my first choice! Its the closest and easiest to get to (Still 45 minutes away!), my 3rd choice rejected me and I decided that my 4th choice was actually too far and withdrew (didn't attend my interview).
Travelling will be a pain, it'll be expensive. I certainly can't do it on public transport as the train station is 3 miles away... I'd have to pay to park my car there and then the train.. Seems pointless when I can just drive and park on the street somewhere!
I think we'll get used to the travelling. I'm unaware as to where my placement is going to be and I won't find out til we start. Its going to be very difficult if I have to travel further than my first choice placement (15 minutes away) and I reckon an hour + after a nightshift will be a killer! Ahh well... We wouldn't do it if its not what we wanted to do, would we?
