Of course you're cut out for this P, I have never met you, but you come across as kind, caring, supportive, knowledgeable for your stage of training, and you're obviously so motivated and have worked so hard to get this far. This is one setback - and remember you may still pass, but I think you#re being very hard on yourself.

I have recently worked with a student who is very much like the impression I get of you - she's amazing with the women, so caring and patient, and even when she has 26 things to do she makes them feel she has all the time in the world for them. She goes to pieces when she feels that she's being marked or assessed - I did a lot of my evaluation of her by listening from behind curtains when she didin't know I was there! She has just qualified and is a solid, grounded midwife who with a bit more experience will be fantastic. It's good to not think you know it all - we all know people like that, but just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and carry on, It's worth it in the end.
