I did nights for the first time on my last delivery suite placement, and I really enjoyed it. Although the unit was really busy, the atmosphere was more relaxed.
This helped me to relax and learn more I feel due to the fact my mentor could spend more time explaining things to me, this wouldn't have been as easy on an early or late shift when there are doctors, visitors, phones and the door to answer constantly.
