Hi - have read all of this thread with interest. Hope you really enjoy it. I did voluntary work on postnatal ward and I loved it. I saw the good, the bad, and the ugly (I'm not talking about the babies by the way!) It served its purpose in that it just reinforced the fact that I wanted to do midwifery and nothing else.
