No never heard of it but I do actually remember things better after Ive done it rather than listening about it, which I'm sure is the same for a lot of people. For example I could listen to midwives pap on all day about how to suture but until I had a go myself nothing really sunk in! You would probably find stuff on that in psychology books maybe??
