Default Re: Independent Vs Hospitalised Midwifery

Yea, you are with my thinking on this, its just a thought thats been running through my head, the difference between community and on site practice..... in my first year I attended alot of homebirths (jammy git I know) and when I went onto labor ward I was almost shocked, it didnt feel right strapping women down as soon as they came in, good reason or not...... but in a few weeks I was CTG'ing anything that stood still.....

I used the term indepedent vs hospitalised midwifery because it seems like 2 ends of a spectrum to me
