they wont actually process your application and give finalised money details until you have a place!! you will get a letter with rough estimate on it, but nothing is finalised until your begin.
Imogen, just phone them up, you could be waiting ages to get an email reply.
It is an awkward situation to be in as you need to know money to budget for your course, but most people just apply, hope for the best and work it out as they go along. There are hardship funds that you can apply to if needs be, and I always have our Student services induction week welcome words ringing in my ears when the going gets tough "we don't like anyone to drop out for financial reasons, and we will do our best to help you if we can"
