Thanks for all your replies. The reason isn't just for Uni, I have lots of family up there who will be able to give me the support that I will need for Uni which is the primary reason. I think I will go and see the council to see what they say. I mean surely not allowi ng you to move would be against human rights - the freedom to live where we want to etc...I will have to go and see. If I privately rented in the area, I could still apply for Housing Benefit that way though couldn't I? xxx
