Really hard isn't it! My hubbie is self employed and could take home anything between £600 and £1800 a month BEFORE TAX and then we have a mortgage of £950 and two in nursery of £800 a month without my earnings it could be disasterous!
I get childcare tax credits at the moment - do you know if you can still get these when on a bursary?
If you find anymore out I'd love to hear - I'll let you know if I find anything super important!
