how do you answer the role of a midwife anti natal labour and post natal ive gt to do a presentation on it and cant find sod all in the library or on the net can somone please help

No your not silly - this is one of the questions I dread! I think its a really difficult one as you've never experienced this situation. If I get word of an interview I'm going to write all the possible questions and answers out, I find it easier to say out loud once I've written them and feel more confident about what I'm saying, it worked when I had to do presentations at work or college before.

i need to say the role of a midwife through the 3 different stages how they help the mother from conception to post natal care what the midwife is there 4 thanx midwifemissy

The NICE guidelines would give you a good starting point, as this covers what you need to know.

Why would your own experience of childbirth be of benefit to women in labour?

I had all the 'regular' questions like whats the role of a midwife and why do I want to become a midwife etc.... here are some of the others:

Why do you think midwives need a degree?
What do you think the challenges of the course will be?
How will you cope with the pressure?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
How will you manage your study time?
What qualities do you think you need to be a good midwife?
What are your strengths & weaknesses?
Why did you chose this university?

There were about 15 questions all in all so I'm glad I was well prepared!!
