Default What Question should I ask?

Hello everyone!

Just been speaking to one of my friends who does children's nursing at Edge Hill, she said its really important that you ask a good question in order to gain more 'points' with the interviewer.

Any ideas on some exceptional question ideas lol? Or should I not worry?

Thanks very much Michelle and J ™!

They're really good ideas! Its the bit I always panic about because I know I need to ask a question, I just want it to be a good one haha!

Asking their opinion sounds a great way to relate to them (I did breastfeeding) and asking about the course will deffo show I really really want the place :P

Thanks

I had read an article in that months The Practising Midwife that interested me...can't remember what about now. So, I asked their opinions about it, but neither of the interviewers had read it lol.

lol ooops :P! Bet it impressed them that you had took an interest though and read it! hehe, wonder if they went away and read it :P

There actually is an article about Edge Hill and how their students can do placements abroad in their 3rd year, was really interesting reading about the difference in Midwifery across the world! Could mention that...

Ask them why they wanted to be midwives! I did it and got comments on what a good question it was

i had aslo read that article emm but they disscussed, with us when they went into detail of what the course has to offer, but I did still metion that I had read it in the interview, just didn't feel i had to go into too much detail. as they new we had already been told about it. xx

I wanted to ask this question but think it might sound silly.
"when you are on placement how much lee-way can you have to use you're own initiative as if i see things that need doing i would like to do it ie. beds" etc ?
just sounds daft to me lol
