Default Uni Glamorgan

Hi everyone,

Has anyone heard from university of glamorgan? I've had my interview and still waiting to hear, but they did say we wouldn't hear untill middle of march!! The wait is killing me!! So hard to concentrate on exams, essays and in lectures now when all i want to do is go home and check the mail!!!
If any one is successful and I am too,(hopefully) please mail me so we can discuss and meet up before we start, this would be great.
Anyway here's back to waiting, and good luck to everyone else who is!!!

Lucky you... I haven't even had an interview for Glam yet! Lol... I spoke to them last week and they said that I should hear something by the end of the month and that their deadline is April 31st so just have to wait and see now! Have you applied anywhere else?

Best of luck honey, fingers crossed for you!!!

Hi Carla. I had my interview on the 18th of Feb and i recieved a conditional offer on the 7th of March. One of my friends was unsuccessful. Don't lose hope though as another of my friends hasn't heard anything. Was it your first choice? Don't stress over it too much!! I know it is easy to say, but hard to do but, you will drive yourself crazy. Good luck !!!!

Hiya,
I had my interview 12th February and as far as I know, the offers have all been given out. For me, an unsuccessful, but you might be on a reserve list so it really is worth it phoning them up and asking them.
Good Luck

Hi Collette,

I don't know if it'll be different q's than for the 3 year direct entry but they asked me what are the highs and lows of midwifery.

I'm afraid I can't remember anything else thay asked other than asking me several times, how I was going to manage the course, especially placements, whilst running a family, despite my having answered that my wonderful hubby has taken over the domestic stuff and my parents are happy to have the children at any time so childcare is not an issue. Should be OK for you though, you're already a nurse and working shifts so they'll know you can handle it.

Mind you, they also asked me if I thought I could handle the academic side of it at my age, because I'm so much older now than when I got my degree. (I'm 29). So be prepared for that one, just in case they ask you too.

Good luck, I hope you get in.
