| Can anyone tell me if you get much notice about placements studying this course? I'm hoping to keep working part-time in my current job, but would need to give them plenty of advance notice when I was committed with a placement preventing me from working... Also, does anyone know what else you're entitled to, other than the non means tested bursary, if you're studying in Wales? I can't seem to find a website that gives a straight answer! |

| Hmmm.. Depends how organised the allocations midwife is... Sometimes most of us get our off duty less than a week before. It is very annoying, but that's the way it seems to be. Hopefully your uni will be different, the girls that work in our cohort do mange to work aswell but it must be tough sometimes, it is hard enough to organise childcare tbh. Good luck
