Thx thats fab! I have my app forms for the Access Course to begin in Sept 08. Nrevous about it really coz havent done anything study wise since leaving "mickey mouse" college 10 years ago. Its an interview aswell which terrifies me. I cant wait to get started, just so many things to consider and also with tiny bambino, me thinks its gonna be a long and winding road . . . . . . I want to be a midwife NOW!!

lol, Michelle. I went to the same college as you, and how much do they try to put you off midwifery. It's funny cos they try so hard, it sort of knocks your confidence a bit. And look at us, here with our places, and cetainly proved them wrong. How many people from your class got onto the midwifery course? xxx

just me but there was only two of us who applied, I am gutted for my mate as she deserved it just as much as me, but yes they have been trying to put me off for two years,

I think so they have a higher success rate on how may people they can get into uni x x

I think so. That was my thought as to why they were trying to put us off. Looks better for them if we all got into other courses in uni.

Well done again you. I know it's hard on your friend, as a few girls didn't get on from our course, but we can help them more for next year, as they WILL get their place then

Just one thing that is a little confusing . . . .If I only start an Access course in Sept this year, then apply fir UNI say Dec, how will I know if I am going to pass the course, or what grades, points etc I will get? Sorry to appear thick , , ,but if you dont ask!!!!!!!!
