Anyone had an interview at uclan????

Hi eveyone, just wondering if anyone has had an interview at Uclan, wondering if they could give me some hints on the interview questions, and what the essay and test that you have to do involves??? Really scared!! I first applied to the the 4 year degree abont 6 years ago but was unsuccessful, i have since had a child of my own and completed my nurse training a year ago. I love being a nurse but my heart is midwifery. My interview is on the 4th and would appreciate any help possible

i'v had an interview but was unsuccessful..
they were really nice and tried to make you as comfortable as possible, (well as you can be at an interview !!!)
the multiple choice questions were ok and not to hard and the short essay was ok to ..
have a look at the interview question section it will help brilliantly it was my interview that let me down i was too nervous and didnt answer the questions lik i would have liked to ...could kick myself now tho...

Im sorry you didnt get in. Thanx so much for the advice you have given me, cant believe how nice everyone is. Ive had a look at the questions on here goin to do some research as well. What questions did you get asked, can you remember? Nerves are just horrible arnt they just dreadin it. Have you got any more interviews hun?

cant remember much as i was sooooo nervous its all a bluer !!! it was i think what do you think a midwife does , whats the role of a midwife, how would you manage your time , what have you read things like that.... just try and relax and show them your passion i know how hard it is but good luck and you can do it xx
yeah i am on the reserve list for edge hill and if i haven't heard owt by the time clearing comes i will apply to Preston through that xx

Hi hun,
No didnt do the access course, I am 31, I was a civil servant for 9 years had my children and did a couple of a levels at night school. Left there and started my nurse training in april 04, qualified april 07, and thats where Im at now working on ward 8 at the vic.
