It must make it a difficult decision when faced with more than one offer, unless you already have a definate preferred choice.
I suppose I was lucky I didn't have that choice to make as I am not 100% certain which I would have gone for to be honest. travel and finances would have been a factor for me lol

That would rule Manchester out for me then, as there is no way I could get to some of the hospitals on public transport in time for the shifts, It would also make it a really long day.
I understand and agree wholeheartedly that it has to be the right decision for the right reasons. Three years is a long time to live with the wrong choice, the course is challenging enough without wishing you were somewhere else throught the whole time. Good luck in deciding hun. Buddies??? But of course lol.

Sounds like you have already made your decision. But from someone who is at a uni that rotates us between trusts, you really need your own transport and the continuity of mentorship is obviously not possible, which can be a good thing, but would be nicer to have the same mentor on each placement.

I had an interview at Salford (oh so long ago mind you!!) and I loved the place but I didn't like the Problem Based Learning, but thats just me, I imagine a lot of unis do the same though. I know someone who has recently qualified from Manchester and she has loved her trainig, that said there are always good study days at Salford and some inspirational speakers there mmmm...
