'Building a profile'...what does this mean?

Hi, the latest in my long wait is that the admission tutors are now building a profile on the remaining candidates to make their final decisions. Anyone know what this process involves and how long it can take?

Hello there, I assume they re-evaluate all the personal statements, topics currently being studied, your references etc.. and if you had an interview they will be going through all of those and comparing notes etc..
They do it to ensure (or try to) that they have picked those most passionate, and eager, and also who academically with their current education can realistically do the course xx

My uni used a points scoring system for candidates after interview. It is possible that this is also a basis for your profile.

Your credits, personal statement, interview etc.

Thanks...clutching at every bit of positive news i can. Have to keep reminding myself that i'm still in with a chance. Will be 7 weeks tomorrow since my interview.
