I am at worcester and i love it, just been on first placement in redditch which was fab
congrats on your place its a great place to study, are you moving to do the course or already live close by?

Hi Liv, would you like a mentor?

Just post a thread in the student mentor area, and use the 'would like a mentor' prefix. Also change also the little box under your name to say 'would like a mentor '

Maybe Emma could mentor you?

oo its good to know you love it so much!
I'm really nervous but really excited to start!

I'm from oxford, so i'll be moving there. Not quite sure what they do about accomodation, because they don't let student midwives/nurses go in to halls. They said at the interview they try and sort out student houses for nurses and midwives, but i'm not sure if i'm supposed to do anything yet, or wait until they send all the like health check stuff in october time :s x

I am starting at Worcester in September so I'm sure I'll see you about. I will be travelling in so don't know much about student accomodation, sure they'll be able to answer your questions if you give them a call tho.

i moved from leicestrer same prob with accom so i went online and found a house share in bromsgrove its cheaper then student accom and nicer. they have a accom contact called spa(r) i think i had a look at some of the houses they are nice u share with about 5 other nurses or midwives but it is quite expensive.

You dont have to do anything yet just wait for the nits they send u through as loans etc will probably be dealing with sept ppl but at least you have plenty of time to get yourself sorted i had 2 weeks!!
