Just wanted to shout to everyone that i have accepted my offer through UCAS!! at last!! took me ages to be able to work out how to do it!!

now im just getting in a panic about loans and bursarys and if i will even be able to afford to do this!!!

Why is there always stress????!!!

Hi

Congratulations on making your final decision. It is a strange feeling doing it on UCAS as I found it scary thinking I hope I've done it the right way round!!

We all have the same worries and people do struggle through. It is very much worth it because I have wanted to do it for so long!!

We'll all pull each other through it!!

Thank you coffeebean that means a lot!!

its just so scary and final!! Im doing a nursing degree at the moment and im scared of leaving it to find that im financially worse (have just been told i'll only get my student loan for 2 years not the 3) and worried the bursary wont be the same im getting now!!

I'm just about the withdraw from my nursing degree and im terrified its all going to go wrong and i wont be able to do midwifery!!! xxxx

There is always something and if we lived on the what if's of life we wouldn't really be living. Maybe in year three you could get a proffessional development loan or something. Give the student finance place a ring and ask. I do know what you mean about needing to know but if you want to follow your dream you have to wing it a bit. I could have got a well paid job and not have to be skint but the reward compared to the sacrifice is no competition for me. My OH is on a temp contract till October and I do worry but it's not going to stop me because my whole family will benefit from having a happy working midwife mummy eventually!!

thats very very true!!!
Its just the not knowing more i think!! its what i want to do and i'll accept every obstacle thats thrown my way but i want to be able to afford to live still!!
Time will tell i guess!!
